I've been staying at this hotel for a number of years and the standards have been maintained throughout that time. The room, as ever, was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Shirley is an excellent host, ensuring the room was attended to as necessary and informing us of anything relevant. The location of the hotel is fine for my needs as I don't mind a short walk to get to local amenities.

The size and comfort , arriving in the evening the room was already warm and felt homely. The chocolates were a nice treat.

Friendly welcome, very helpful and efficient. Room was spotless and the best bed we've ever found in a hotel. Quiet location despite being walking distance from the town centre, and plenty of parking.
