This house is a very pleasant and nicely located place if you are happy to be a bit away from the coast and the 'action'. Rui is a very communicative and helpful host. We very much enjoyed our stay here.

The place lies about 3km inland and about 2km from the main coastal road amid meadows and cultivated fields. It is surrounded by a large orchard with fruit trees and grapevine. It has shaded parking, a big terrace at the rear facing north and accessible from the kitchen, and a shaded front terrace. The front terrace faces south, is equipped like a second living room, and a couple of steps away from the sun loungers. From the living room (with an impressive TV system, for which I had no use, and air conditioning) one accesses the main bedroom (double bed with very good mattress), bathroom with shower, a second bedroom with 2 stock-beds (mattresses very good as well) and a folding couch, and the kitchen. The kitchen with a table sitting four is well equipped with fridge/deep freeze, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, every appliance in perfect condition. Many thanks to Rui, the helpful and well-informed host who gave a thorough introduction, including touristic and culinary recommendations, all of which were well worth following-up. During my stay Rui was in email contact and questions could be dealt with at once. To me, the most outstanding feature of the place was the peaceful environment (on average there was 1 car and 1 motor scooter passing by per day!)
