A really lovely property, tucked away up a hill, amongst the trees away from the town. Very quiet and peaceful with fantastic views across the moorland and town below. The grounds are very nice and the children enjoyed exploring and playing on the fallen down tree in the garden. Inside we wanted for nothing, equipped kitchen, toiletries in the bathroom, bed linen and towels, comfy beds and cosy lounge and dining area. We stayed during a very cold snap, all the heaters worked well and were never cold. Shelia was on hand anytime should we have had any problems and was very helpful and friendly. Oakhampton town was a 5 minute drive away and Dartmoor roughly 15-20 minutes depending on what area you want to get to. We had a great time here and would definitely come back.

Location and size suited us very well. Full of Devon Charm. The Beds were comfortable, clean and warm. The views across Okehampton were beautiful. Good local walks and privacy from neighbouring cottages was good. Baby Cot and high chair and stair gates were very useful. Thank you. Compared to many this was good value.

Lovely views over the town and countryside. Very pretty cottage with great character. There was plenty of utensils and kitchenware, everything that you need for a holiday.
