Amazing place away from the busy Oia center. Close to the beach, nice spot to watch a sunset. Staff is very amazing and nice!

The hosts were friendly. Gianni picked us up at the port and was polite . His wife Violet worked the desk and lovely . Had a solid breakfast and ate at the hotel as it was at least a 20 minute walk into Oia. Close to the beach over the road and could see the sea and the mountains behind the rooms .

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Mare Nostrum in Santorini! The owner and driver were incredibly friendly and always ready to help. They gave us great advice on things to do, organized a wonderful cruise, and even helped us rent a car and a quad—essential for exploring the island. They were also kind enough to assist our friends, even though they weren’t staying at the hotel (if we had known them earlier, we all would have booked here!). The hotel isn’t right in the busy center of Oia, which was perfect for us to enjoy a calmer, more relaxing atmosphere. From the rooftop garden, you can easily watch both sunrise and sunset—truly peaceful and unforgettable. Overall, a more economical and serene choice than staying in the crowded Oia center. Highly recommended!
