The name 'Lake View Apartment' covers it all! On arrival, you might look at the balcony and think, there is no lake to see... But the view from the second (!!) balcony will leave you speechless. It's exactly like the pictures on booking. There is a microwave, an electric kettle, a washing machine, and on the large balcony you can find a drying rack. Of course you can also use it for drying your swimming gear, since the famous Ohrid lake is only 10 minutes by foot. On the shores of the lake, there's plenty of space to lay your towel and take a cooling swim. Water shoes could be convenient since there are a lot of stones and rocks in the water. The apartment has two bedrooms, a large living room and a small but sufficient kitchen with a large fridge. The beds are great, though that's personal of course. Literally two minutes from the apartment you will find the "Old Town Market", a small supermarket filled with basic groceries, AND cooled drinks! A larger supermarket down town will only take 15 minutes. There is also a lot to see around: Ohrid is filled with a whole lot of interesting buildings and also plenty of bars, shops and restaurants. The hosts Mitko & Lilo are the best! They don't speak English but don't worry, you will have nice conversations. They gave me traditional Macedonian coffee and homemade rakija on arrival and wouldn't let me leave without some wonderful (and also homemade) magnets with nice pictures of Ohrid :-D If you would need more information there's always Aleksandar one phonecall or message away, he does speak & write English. When I return to Ohrid I will definitely check availability at Lake View Apartment.

I stayed here for 1 night with my family. It was a very comfortable and cozy night. The owners downstairs took care of all our needs and treated us very well. They took care of many things for us, including finding a taxi at an affordable price. Taxi drivers refused to take us because we had to leave early. But our host took special care and arranged an affordable taxi for us very early in the morning. We didn't feel like strangers, it was as if we were visiting a relative. They were very friendly and polite to us. It is also a very honest business. Even though we left very early in the morning, they let us through. The house was very clean and tidy. It has a perfect view. I highly recommend it, especially for those coming from Turkey. In addition, our host gave us handmade magnets with Turkish flags as a gift. We were very pleased.

It is just next to.ohrid door so it is easy to find parking place It has amazing lake view and very close to center by walking 10.min maximum It was really clean and organized flat
