The setting of the hotel in the old castle, at the top of a fantastic old town, is hard to beat. The room had good facilities. The breakfast room had great views over the surrounding countryside.

Breakfast was superb the place was very atmospheric everything you would want from a castle. The location was excellent and staff very responsive. A very romantic Valentine's evening with a tasting menu which was delicious and very reasonable.

The breakfast was excellent with many choices and good quality. The castle setting of the hotel provides lifetime memories. The afternoon tea and cookies were an additional surprise and thoroughly enjoyable.

Fabulous location within the amazing castle walls. The walk up to the restaurant and views from the citadel were stunning.
