Extremly welcoming staff. Overall ambience is of the entire location was great. Double Rooms were well maintained , clean and perfect for 2 people. Breakfast also has a great variety for both vegeterains and non-vegeterains.

An outstanding stay! The property is modern, clean, and spacious, but the best thing was the manager, Irina. Irina’s approach to guest support is amazing and she really raised the bar on hospitality. Irina made a huge difference, making us feel truly welcomed. Highly recommended!"

Our stay at the Obertrauner Hof left me with nothing but positive impressions. From the self-check-in in the evening (I received clear instructions well in advance) to the warm welcome from the hotel staff in the morning, the delicious breakfast (with a stunning view of the surrounding mountains), and the comfortable, clean, newly renovated room. You’ll truly feel at home here. If you want to go on day trips in the area, this is definitely the best choice. Before leaving, we also considered staying in Hallstatt, but we’re glad we didn’t and chose the Obertrauner Hof instead. The location is much quieter and the atmosphere more pleasant; you can easily get to Hallstatt by car, bus, or on foot (about 50 minutes, walking the entire way on a safe sidewalk separated from the road).

The cleanliness , the scent , the vibe , the breakfast and the staff really amazing. Its the service that matters most for us. But everything was perfect and exceeded our expectation. we certainly would come back to this hotel. the receptionist is very nice and accomodating so as the staff in the restaurant.
