It is an idyllic house that raises sheep next door. I stayed at an accommodation with a terrace on the upper floor, and the dining room, living room, and bedroom are arranged in harmony, and the atmosphere of the country is full. Tea and a glass of wine on the terrace were great. The homeowner picked us up at the Obertraun station on the first day, and the old couple, who are the homeowners, are very friendly. Buses to Hallstatt, Five Fingers, and Oberaun station stop right in front of the accommodation. If you follow the trail for about 15 minutes, you will be connected to the lakefront trail. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to Cable Car Station in Five Fingers. While the Hallstatt area is cluttered with so many tourists, the lawns and trails around the lake are so good in Obertraun, and until mid-September when we visited, there were many people swimming, boating and sunbathing in the shallow lake. There are quite a few mountain bikes and mountaineers near Five Fingers, and paragliding to Lake Halstadt and getting off at Obetraun seemed fun. My wife and I intend to revisit this accommodation and stay for a long time.

Haus Alpenblick is a fantastic holiday choice, the highlight of our Austrian holiday. From comfy beds and a sparkling clean bathroom to a kitchen that supplied all the basics and a balcony that overlooks the magnificent mountains (the best spot for breakfast!) We actually haven't stopped talking about our stay there! It's very handy to the train station and not far from a supermarket and ferries to Hallstatt.
