Sharp “Great Modern Apt in a Lovely Quiet Alpine Village”

Lovely new accommodation. Very spacious. spotlessly clean, modern yet still traditional Bavarian apt. It has one good sized bedroom with a large double bed and en-suite bathroom, a huge TV on the bedroom wall if you like that sort of thing. The adjoining lounge/diner has a sofa bed which we used as there were 3 of us. The kitchen is compact but modern and perfectly use-able. There's also a nice but small entrance hall which we used to store ski gloves and shoes over night and guests also have use of a boot/ski store downstairs in the main house. Of course you have a couple of nice balconies to sit out on and the traditional Bavarian dining corner suite which I love. The host - Claudia Brugger speaks good English and was very nice and helpful and lives in the adjacent apt, so if you need anything she is easy to get hold of. The village has a few Restaurants and some nice walks, it also has a mini Golf Course which has a small clubhouse which we visited one night for a beer and were welcomed whole heatedly by the locals. Most meals we took in neighbouring Oberstdorf which is only 15 mins drive away. One thing to note is that parking outside the apt is shared with other guests and the owners so on the odd occasion someone may have to park around the corner in the car park below the Church. Its only about 50m away if that and is no issue at all. Overall, I loved our stay here and would return again.
