First off, the hosts and staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. They helped us find a fair money exchange, as one we went to tried to rip us off. They really made us feel welcome. Nanavida was gay friendly. The location is great, close to all attractions and neighborhoods. We walked everywhere. Coming home, opening the metal gate, the creaky sound, it really did feel like a home away from home. The courtyard was a quiet and calm place to chill and escape the heat and busyness of the city. Early mornings, opening the shutters and windows to listen to the birds and doves in the garden, was transporting. Breakfast was satisfying, delicious coffee and fruit and bread. I've never stayed in a place where I received a welcome and departing gift.
