The room was nice and spacious with a kitchenette. It is fairly close to the centre, but located in the less desirable area of town. If travelling as a solo female traveller you may want to take this into consideration. There was a good air conditioner and the shower was great, just be careful as the water can get very hot. The external courtyard is lovely and spacious.

i stayed 3 nights, room was amazing, oaxaca is a very walkable city - although at the periphery, you bump into many different restaurants by the time you get to main square or centro. Bonus points for a gym nearby - 60 pesos per day or 220 per week. it's clean and does not stink.

Safe location 20 mins walk to the central square and old part. Found Oaxaca incredibly hot compared to our visit by the coast so we should have stuck to the early mornings and later afternoons! Due to the heat we asked to extend our reservation until 6pm so we could shower before our flights. But accommodation was perfect for what we needed, the host was really lovely and communication was great!
