Dave the host was super kind and helpful (even though I lost the key, sorry!). The location was perfect, most of the places are walking distance, and the place in itself was comfortable

We stayed twice at this place. Dave is an excellent host. The accommodation is charming, nicely located, close to many cafés, bars, the city centre, yet quiet and privat. A real + is the lavanderia at the entrance - will come back any time without a doubt

Beautiful room in the heart of amazing Oaxaca. Very unique decor, lots of things look handmade with attention to detail. Room had everything we needed for our short stay. Host was very helpful and responsive and allowed us for a very late check in.

Dave the owner was superb, very easy to contact, responsive and helpful. The property is in a great location within a few minutes walk from the historic centre of Oaxaca. We felt very safe in the property. We booked the split level studio so were expecting a mezzanine bed level, the benefit of this is that the mattress was very big. There were a couple of things that we were not expecting and consider it only fair to point these out to people who are considering renting this property, so they do so fully informed. There was no handrail to the mezzanine stair, no problem for us but it may be an issue for others. The wc, shower and wash basin are in the external courtyard. Due to the climate this is not a major issue and robes are provided, however the users of the adjacent apartment access their property through the courtyard so some people may find this uncomfortable. We were surprised to discover this but ultimately it did not impact us and we enjoyed our stay, which we considered good value in a great location with a very helpful host.
