This is a lovely quirky cottage on the hill above the historic centre of Oamaru. There is on-street parking right outside. The kitchen/dining area was well stocked and clean with a 2 seater sofa opposite the picture window with a super view over the garden and down to the coast. The bedrooms (twin & double) were comfy and quiet. The separate living room had plenty of seating and TV etc for entertainment. We enjoyed an al fresco breakfast on the small terrace above the garden by the back door and took advantage of the washing machine (and indoor airer) to keep on top of our laundry. The host, Lilly, has furnished the place with lovely artwork and lots of quaint touches and tried to think of everything you could possibly need to have a great stay. The cottage is a short walk (downhill) to the old part of Oamaru and the Botanic Gardens, in easy reach of the Steam Punk Museum and about 20 minutes walk from the Little Blue Penguins.

Beautiful wee little cottage with an amazing view of the ocean. The large window was perfect for watching the sunrise! The cottage had everything we needed and it was very tidy. The location was great and it was nice and quiet.
