The communication with the host was excellent prior to arrival. The house was in a great location with a great pub in walking distance. Kitchen was well equipped, lounge had plenty of seating and bedrooms were a good size with comfortable beds.

Spacious rooms set over three floors with well appointed and very clean bathrooms. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook a decent meal. It rained a lot while we were there (this is the UK afterall), but the place did not feel small for our family of 5. A bonus was a work desk in one of the rooms which was perfect for the teenager studying for public exams. There is also a small garden out the back which was lovely when there was occasional sunshine! Excellent, peaceful location. Within walking distance of two pubs that serve good food, an excellent village shop and several walks from the doorstep. Short drive to bigger towns and villages and attractions including Wookey hole and stunning Ebbor gorge. The host Ruth was very helpful via the chat with suggestions on what to do in the local area. Highly recommend the place to others!

This property has a lovely feel and good sized rooms. The kitchen is well equipped and there's plenty of room if you're taking your dog(s) for their beds, bowls etc. Great sized sitting room with plenty of comfortable seats and view of the garden (which is completely enclosed and dog safe). The bed, whilst a little firm, was a proper king size and we slept exceptional well. The shower was powerful and the bath towels were a proper sized towel (I hate it when hand towels are passed off as bath towels). We were able to put on the heating without any problem (it constantly rained throughout our visit) to warm ourselves up. There's a small hallway, with coat pegs so our wet coats could be hung to dry without having to put them over chairs. This property is very clean, great WiFi and we would definitely use again.
