Staff were brilliant. Knew my parents were there as a gift for their anniversary, so they were upgraded. They loved the room and view. Everything was great.

We stayed for two nights. Perfect location within walking distance of the village and Rutland Water. The food was excellent, a good variety, cooked to perfection. Spacious dining room with attentive waiting staff. You can eat in the dining room or have bar snacks and/or drinks in one of several warm, cosy fireside corners. Very comfortable room with a spacious bathroom. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate available in the room (I don't drink tea or coffee so the hot chocolate was a welcome bonus, something that many hotels don't provide). Very helpful, friendly staff in all areas of the hotel. Highly recommended, we'll visit again.
