Resort Overview

Located on the southeastern coast of Bali, The Sakala Resort Bali offers a luxurious escape with two expansive outdoor pools, a spa, fitness center, kids club, and several dining options – including an all-day beachfront restaurant, a specialty dining venue, and multiple bars. Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the property.
Our all-suite accommodations seamlessly blend modern design with traditional Balinese elements. Each spacious, air-conditioned suite features wooden flooring, a kitchenette, dining area, and a cozy living space with plush seating. Suites are equipped with 42-inch flat-screen cable TVs and bath amenities.
Although our rooms are not directly on the beach, The Sakala Beach Club – just across a small road – offers seamless access, with our security team assisting guests to cross. The Beach Club provides all-day dining with diverse international menus for lunch and dinner. Guests can unwind at the pool bar or lounge by the infinity pool, which overlooks the ocean.
Twice a week, we host vibrant evening beach events, such as BBQ nights and Balinese extravaganzas (weather permitting). The beach area is outfitted with sun loungers, umbrellas, bean bags, and the newly opened Sakala Beach Bar, quickly becoming a guest favorite.
While Tanjung Benoa Beach is renowned for watersports, our hotel offers an exclusive 2,000m² swimmable area safeguarded by buoys, ensuring a secure environment for guests.
In the evenings, guests are invited to savor an unforgettable culinary experience at The Terrace, our signature restaurant. This elegant venue features curated menus celebrating the rich flavors of Royal Indonesian cuisine.
For a more casual option, guests can visit our Lobby Bar at any time of day to enjoy cocktails or a glass of wine. By late afternoon, the bar comes to life with live music and the glow of fire torches reflecting on the pond, creating a magical atmosphere to unwind.

Fitted with air conditioning and wooden flooring, these spacious 62m2 suites with soundproof walls have a separate dining/living room area, a kitchenette (stove, microwave and minibar available but kitchen utensils upon request) and flat-screen cable TV. The en-suite bathroom comes with a bathtub and bath amenities. Designed with premium materials (i.e.. Italian marble) and with luxury large beds. These units are located in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th level of the resort. All have a large balcony with views that may vary and are subject to availability: to the garden, to the lobby building, to the exterior area of the resort, or a few units located on the 2nd floor may have views to a property wall.

Fitted with air conditioning and wooden flooring, these spacious 62m2 suites with soundproof walls have a separate dining/living room area, a kitchenette (stove, microwave and minibar available but kitchen utensils upon request) and flat-screen cable TV. The en-suite bathroom comes with a bathtub and bath amenities. Designed with premium materials (i.e.. Italian marble) and with luxury large beds. All these units are located in the medium-high floor of the resort and have a large balcony with views to our massive lagoon pool of 125 meters long.

The en-suite bathroom comes with a bathtub and bath amenities. Designed with premium materials (i.e.. Italian marble) and with luxury large beds. All these units are located on the ground floor and have a large balcony with direct stair access to our massive lagoon pool of 125 meters long.

Two Bedroom Pool Villa - enter dates to see room photos

Ideal for families or couples, our luxury Two-Bedroom Pool Villas offer a private and standalone accommodation spread over two floors in a privileged location within the resort and with access to all facilities. Each villa features its own swimming pool and outdoor area, creating ample space for relaxing or entertaining. Inside, guests will find two air-conditioned living rooms (one on each floor), two dining areas, and two kitchenettes equipped with a stove, microwave (kitchen utensils are not set by default but available upon request) and sink. Additionally, there are premium amenities such as an espresso capsule coffee machine, fruit basket and welcome minibar set up. Both bedrooms include walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms fitted with separate bathtubs and showers, complimentary toiletries and slippers On top of all that, we have a dedicated butler available exclusively to the villas providing added convenience and premium service throughout your stay.

With 125m2 of space and warm colors decoration, our family suites with soundproof walls offer a master bedroom with a king bed and a second bedroom with twin beds, each with its own bathroom. All these units are located on the highest floor and have large balconies with great views of the exterior of the resort. There is a kitchenette (stove, microwave and minibar available but kitchen utensils upon request) with generous space for preparing family meals and a dining area that seats 4 persons.

Lower Ground Room – No View - enter dates to see room photos

This is our smallest and entry-level room type. It is located in the basement (floor -1) and it has an inner courtyard patio but with no windows and very limited natural light. It is a fully equipped 54m2 size room with soundproof walls, a marble bathroom (bathtub) and a vanity area. For guests who wish to experience open views of our tropical gardens or massive lagoon pool, we recommend the option of a higher room category.

This spacious suite is comprised of 1 living room, 2 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a walk-in shower and free toiletries. The suite's kitchenette, which features a stovetop and a microwave, is available for cooking and storing food. The air-conditioned suite offers a flat-screen TV with cable channels, soundproof walls, a minibar, a tea and coffee maker as well as pool views. The unit offers 3 beds.

Please note that the following rooms are located on upper-level floors: Two-Bedroom Suite with Pool View, Deluxe Family Pool View ( with Sofa Bed ) and Deluxe Suite with Sofa Bed.
Guests are required to present the same credit card used for booking upon check-in for verification, otherwise the property may ask for full payment to be settled immediately with an alternative method. Any deposit paid will be refunded to the original card.
If the guests making the booking are not the same as the guests checking in, the hotel will send a billing authorisation form. Guests must complete and sign the form before sending it back to the hotel with a copy of the credit card used for booking and a copy of a valid ID.

“Wonderful staff and facilities at the Sakala”

The Sakala was a great hotel, which we chose to just go to relax. Got that at the Sakala. We stayed in one of the villas, very clean, comfy beds and a good option for families as have two living areas and separate bathrooms (upstairs mimicked downstairs) with own pool. All the grounds were very well maintained - great attention to detail everywhere.

The facilities such as the pool, restaurants, spa and beach club were very luxurious and comfortable and were great value for money. The breakfast buffet was amazing and had heaps of great options.
