The Z Hotel
The Z Hotel is a stylish 40-room boutique hotel on the northern tip of Zanzibar, in Nungwi. It’s a blend of modern design and classic Zanzibari touches, set in tropical gardens right by a stunning white-sand beach. The Indian Ocean is literally just steps away.
All rooms are air-conditioned and come with a flat-screen TV, Bluetooth speakers, minibar, and en suite bathroom with robes and a hairdryer. Each room also has its own private balcony.

It’s a cool mix of modern luxury and local charm.

My stay at the hotel was truly wonderful. The property is beautiful, clean, and exceptionally cozy, ideally located in the heart of Nungwi within easy walking distance of all the restaurants and shops. I was particularly impressed with the hotel's amenities. The infinity pool area is stunning, the beach is well-equipped and secure, and the gym is a great facility. My room was spacious, very quiet, and impeccably clean, with a lovely terrace. The daily breakfast was delicious, and the hotel staff were consistently lovely, helpful, and always smiling. I would highly recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway.
