Carla and her team are amazing hosts. The location is nice and quiet in a secluded street walking distance to the beach. Beautiful garden. Tasty filling breakfast. The bungalows are very private

My friend and I had a delightful 3-night stay at Mawimbi Bungalows. From the moment we arrived, Carla, the owner, made us feel incredibly welcome—a perfect introduction to the charm of Zanzibar. The property itself was a lush, green oasis, providing a cool and cosy atmosphere. Our bungalow was spotless, with comfortable beds and a shower that provided hot water, ensuring a comfortable stay. The breakfast was delicious, and the friendly, attentive staff went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. The location was ideal, with the beach just a 5-minute walk away. It felt safe and secure for us as two women to explore, adding to the overall sense of relaxation and enjoyment. I highly recommend Mawimbi Bungalows for anyone looking for a serene, welcoming, and conveniently located place to stay in Zanzibar.

Loved the place. It's clean, well-maintaines and the staff are so friendly. Our host was also very kind, warm and welcoming. She ensured we had everything we needed during our stay. The pool was clean and lovely and we liked the floating breakfast too.
