Crazy man is an amazing host, very caring about your needs and lives up to his name. he helps you to arrange everything and also didn't mind to make vegan breakfast. The breakfast was super tasty, we slept very comfortable in the beds and also liked the common space. Also everything was clean. We came by public transport and also walked everywhere in town, no problem. It's a very good value for money that is offered.

Located at Nungwi just along the road and a few meters from the beach,Homeland Swahili backpackers is a serene and budget friendly place to stay when visiting zanzibar.They offer delicious breakfast and have a free kitchen where you can prepare your own meals .Get ready to share great company with other travellers. I totally recommend this place for Solo travellers and first time travellers,the host Mr Crazy Man, is very helpful and always ready to assist you anytime.

good value for money. Most African hostels are not that clean. The owner of the hostel makes sure that things are clean and tidy. He also helped us a lot with transportation to the beach, bying food and generally he was caring and willing to help us in anything we needed. Good experience!
