First of all - Alp the owner is a wonderful, most considerate man, since the moment we arrived until we checked out to our next destination he always made sure that we are all good, and asked us about our day or if we need anything. He made us feel really comfortable. The prices of the tours that he books are the cheapest we saw (and we checked). Also, there is a very lovely dog and cat that made us feel like home. The location is great, really at the center of nungwi. The rooms are very clean and they clean them everyday, very good wifi, laundry services at a great price. Great value for money! All in all we really recommend!!!

I had an amazing experience at this hotel. The owners were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The location was close to everything, it was very clean, and breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended!!

Our stay at Babalao Bungalow was absolutely amazing! The hotel was spotless, and we never had any issues with cleanliness or hygiene. Its location close to the sea, the pool, cocktails, and food were all fantastic. I honestly think they have the best restaurant on the island — we tried many highly rated places, but none compared to the flavors here. If you stay at Babalağ, you really don’t need to eat anywhere else. Alp Bey and his team were incredibly friendly and always ready to help with any questions. They also supported us with early check-in and late check-out whenever availability allowed, which made our trip even more comfortable. They were also very helpful in organizing activities and tours. We compared prices from different providers, but the options suggested by the hotel were always better value and more comprehensive. The tours we joined through the hotel were not only more enjoyable but also better in terms of price-performance. If you have any concerns about traveling in Africa, rest assured — Alp Bey and his team do everything to make you feel comfortable. We never had a single negative experience, and I believe you won’t either. Honestly, I couldn’t imagine a better stay.

Everything was very clean. The location was excellent. The recommended places to visit from the owner were great. The owner was very present and organised on site. All the staff were so very lovely! Also the two cats and the dog were wonderful
