The view from my room was simply astonishing. The meals were delicious. The staff who served us, Ms Ogawa, was very professional and friendly. Enjoyed a relaxing stay here.

Beautiful view of Mount Fuji from the room as well as from the outdoor onsen. Very clean, breakfast and dinner were fabulous. Modernist art collection on level 2 was delightful. As was the Italian stained glass ceiling in the lobby. Awashima Hotel is a time capsule of late 80s luxury decor and very well preserved. The onsen facilities were really great and I would love to stay there again.
