Sasaoka-san was an amazing host - he helped us book a dinner reservation and the homemade breakfast was delicious (especially mashed potato salad!). Shared amenities were always clean and tidy, and our room was really spacious. To top it all off, it was less than 10 mins by foot to the Nagasaka gondola. Will definitely come again during next ski trip.
