Very nice and helpful staff; very comfortable bed; clean room; air conditioning; permanently hot water; the availability of a kettle and coffee/tea was an additional advantage.

Nice place for a few days to discover the region. Serves good breakfast if you want. Nice staff. Room was big enough for 2 and had everything we needed.

A very convenient stopover en route from Italy to Slovenia which felt a million miles from the Italian style hotels just across the border, what with the misty valley location and the stone sign in gothic font welcoming us from the parking area. The mother and daughter team were very helpful and friendly, and our room was perfectly comfortable. We found a wonderful log cabin restaurant hidden in the woods for dinner and had a charming cultural experience to get our holiday underway.

We had a lovely stay at Šterk! The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious, and our room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. Special thanks to the owner for her warm hospitality — it truly made our stay memorable. Highly recommended!
