The outside area is spacious with a beautiful swimming pool. Inside is modern, well equipped and very well done. The owner was super friendly!!

Our stay at Rifugio del Sole was outstanding. Our hosts Cristina and Gaetano were warm, welcoming and made us feel right at home. They met us to collect the keys and show us around. They were very responsive and met any of our requests with a smile. Everything was well organised and easily accessible. The property itself is beautiful!! The inside is eclectically decorated with many things unique to Sicily, we enjoyed looking around at everything. There are many places to relax and soak in the sun on the property, we loved the hammock, the pool loungers and the outdoor egg chair! The outdoor dining setting is large and undercover, we ate outside for all of our meals. The appliances were all SMEG and of great quality and easy to use. We loved the pool, it was great for our two kids (3.5yo and 9mo). The beds were all very comfortable, water pressure was great, the kids enjoyed the massive spa bath!! Wifi was also excellent. We also walked into Noto centre. Although the walk over the bridge looks a bit sketchy (no footpath) we did this with the 3.5yo walking and the 9mo in the pram. The drivers all moved over and we felt quite safe.

Beautiful property. It’s so spacious and freeing, a true transition from the hustle and bustle of London, which is what we were looking for. The beds were very comfortable, the villa was clean and home like. The range of kitchen utensils were perfect, there were a variety of glasses, bowls, plates, mugs, pots and pans. The views from the villa were gorgeous, I especially loved making my morning coffee while overlooking the pool from the kitchen window. The swimming pool felt like heaven. On the nights we cooked and stayed in, we sat outside on one of the variety of seating choices around the villa, we never knew which one to pick! The villa felt safe and secure with the doors and gate. Gaetano and Christina were simply perfect. Such joyous and genuine energy, they really cared for us and would answer our questions at whatever time of the day. Christina offered to drive and pick us up on one day, which we were so grateful for. I couldn’t recommend this villa more and I can’t wait to come back.

Gaetano was incredibly kind and always available throughout our stay – his warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The villa is absolutely beautiful, spotless, and cared for in every single detail, both inside and out. We were welcomed with a delicious bottle of local wine, and every moment felt like a genuine taste of Sicilian life. We will definitely be coming back! If you're looking for an authentic, relaxing stay in a stunning villa surrounded by nature and warmth, don't hesitate, this is the place to be.
