We loved the hosts, who were very friendly and helpful. Also liked the historic nature of the house and grounds, it felt like a real part of old Sicily - very peaceful and atmospheric. The pool was superb! Overall, the apartment had all that we needed and was an excellent base for visiting south eastern Sicily

It was incredibly comfortable in Teresa and Michel's old manor. The owners became good friends from the moment they met. The house was old, family-like, more of a castle than a mansion. And the furniture matched this fortress. We enjoyed a vast pool with clear water without the smell of chlorine and a jacuzzi the size of a volleyball court between the trees of the old garden. Absolute silence in the evenings, not disturbed by anyone's music or screams. Village restaurants and shops are a few minutes' drive from the manor. We could use free covered parking in the yard.
