Very historic inn and food was lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and comfortable The breakfast was very nice The village was lovely to walk round .

Beautiful quaint and quirky pub. We stayed one night and would have loved to stay longer. We stayed in the Coombs Room. Lovely comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. The staff were lovely, the food delicious and dining on the terrace in the wonderful sunshine was a very nice experience. We will be back and can highly recommend The George as a place to stay or dine.
