The location is great with loads of free parking and you can load your luggage from your car easily. Its about 20mins walk to the main street which is fine and it means your accommodation is quiet and peaceful. We did have one full day of cycling, so decided to Uber to the restaurant in town – it was very reasonable price and easy, the driver could just pull up at the parking lot off the street. The walk to town is quiet, its around where college students live – mostly women, so it feels safe and we didn't experience any anti-social behaviour. In fact, we were surprised at how well behaved and staid it was for a Saturday night! Our room was excellent, really big and having two armchairs with the side table was ideal for us as keen readers and often after a long day of sightseeing you just want to sit down, not use the bed. Everything was spotless and the breakfast was very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful, making sure the area was tidy and clean throughout the morning rush.

Staff were friendly and helpful. It's about 10 mins walk to downtown, Smith College more or less round the corner. Help yourself tea/coffee in the evening.
