Conveniently situated for our needs. Beautiful building sensitively and tastefully restored and maintained. Friendly and helpful staff. Room and facilities fantastic. Large airy room with plenty of storage. Iron kettle fan tea and coffee. Extra pillows in a sealed bag which was reassuring. Quality bedding and towels. The highlight for us was the food. Large booking for our family meal. Staff attentive but not overbearing. Exceptional service. Our meal was simply one of the best any of us had had. Quality ingredients. Thoughtfully and expertly designed menu. Expertly cooked to order to a very high standard. Reasonably priced as the standard was so high. All in all the whole package made for a memorable stay.

Staff friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast. Bed comfy. Plenty of electric sockets in the room. Ironing board, iron and hair dryer all in the room wardrobe.
