Everyone I interact with at the wheatsheaf is professional and courteous. It is reasonably priced but I do feel the rooms all need to be updated making it hard to say if it's truly value for money. I have no complaints about the overall presentation of the hotel. Maybe new carpets and bathrooms would be good?

Great location with easy check-in by a lovely friendly lady Comfortable room and decent bathroom but needs a lot of TLC as a bit tired. Fantastic evening meal with good food served by our great waitress Lydia Mae Good value for money including breakfast

The staff were very helpful and friendly, check in and out was easy and there was never a problem getting a table in the restaurant where the food was exceptional.

Lovely staff, very helpful and advised and assisted us on how we could have food delivered as the hotel kitchen was closed when we arrived. Clean and comfortable room with tea and coffee making facilities available in the room. Easy to reach location with lots of free parking outside.

Staff friendly and helpful and room and beds comfortable. The heating had broken down when we got there but we were given a heater which kept our room warm

By choice, I didn't have dinner or breakfast, so I cant comment on this aspect. The room was spacious and the 6' wide bed was a nice surprise. The staff were excellent.
