Wonderful views of the Scenic Rim - breakfast provided was wonderful - worth staying a week to take advantage of the chalet and the surrounding restaurants, bush walks and mountain lifestyle

Lovely little cottages well placed on Mt Tamborine. With all the necessities there what makes this place stand out is the view!!!

Absolutely magic view. Waking up with rain and fog was still beautiful and with lorikeets on our deck. Breakfast basket was a nice touch and kitchen facilities had everything needed

There was no screens on the doors to the balcony. You could not leave them open for the breeze & nature sounds because of the insects. Also no curtains, so the full sun was bathed the whole of the house. Was a bit uncomfortable.

We enjoyed our stay except on arrival we discovered there was no firewood . It was unusually cold and wet and the idea of having a fire ( as advertised ) was extremely inviting. We were told no firewood available . This was disappointing as we had paid a high rate to enjoy all of the facilities in the room . I think the owners need to reconsider this as other mountain cottages we have stayed at in March ALL had firewood . It was a shame as the location / cottage / view were incredible but this will stop us from recommending or staying again .

The view is spectacular, & the chalet is comfortable. The weather when we stayed was mostly torrential rain, which made it very atmospheric. This also meant it would have been perfect to have a log fire, but use of the fireplace is only allowed between May to Sept. This was really disappointing & seemed mean - the fireplace sits in the corner looking tempting but cold. The breakfast basket was also a bit disappointing. 3 slices of pasty white bread per day. A small loaf of a healthier type of bread - multigrain, sourdough or Turkish- would have been much nicer. The teabags were also rationed - one each per day. For the price we were paying, a small packet of teabags & more coffee pods would cost very little yet appear far more generous. It felt unnecessarily stingy.

Everything was ready for us when we arrived, a text message was sent to me earlier in the day notifying the cottage was ready and where the keys would be. everything was clean and easy to find. it's very spacious for a couple.

It came with complimentary breakfast, eggs, bacon, bread, milk, juice and so much more. It was a nice touch. The view was incredible and such a cozy room. We would definitely recommend!
