It was different from what I imagined, but I have no problem staying there.

The hosts are nice and helpful. But, this place is near to a mosque, so you will be waken up early in the morning by their loud chanting. The place is not very clean, there are cockroaches. If you book the non AC "apartment", it is in an old, dark house and is actually just a room with a tiny kitchen. I was offered the AC room instead as I wanted to leave the place, not stay there.

Lovely little house and a great breakfast. They had an old bicycle for rent which allowed me to get around the area easily Really enjoyed my time there. Please drop by the Muziris as it truly is a gem

During my last Kerala trip my family and I stayed at Takashi Home stay for 3 nights. Thanks to the location map and the directions from the host. The home stay is located in a quaint little village. Rooms are on the first floor of the same house where host lives. The place is very clean and comfortable. AC, hot water all were working well. Bedsheets were clean. Breakfast was simple and tasty. I will definitely stay in Takashi in my next visit too.
