It is in the center of everything. Parking is just a few minutes by foot. Apartment is done very nicely. Owners’s father is supper helpful. We travel a lot and stay in different places, this one has the right rating:)

Norma is an extraordinary town, perched high on a precipitous hill, and it was a relief to arrive after a fairly stressful journey (via hairpin bends, local drivers, etc). The old part of the town is closed to traffic, so you have to park a fair way out and then reach the property on foot. But it is a beautiful walk, and we were very warmly welcomed. The proprietor showed us around with evident pride, and took every effort to ensure our comfort. His recommendation of the Antichi Sapori Trattoria for supper was especially valuable. Just watching the population of Norma spending the evening would have been entertainment enough.

You can tell the place has been renovated thoughtfully and with guests in mind. The communal kitchen is great to have, with tea, coffee and milk in the fridge for the afternoon and at breakfast. I liked the flexibility of a DIY breakfast that was delivered in the morning rather than the formality of a hotel breakfast. A selection of fruit, yoghurt and packaged breakfast foods were left and then cornettos/croissants were delivered first thing in the morning. This left you free to decide when to have it. You would then juat wait until the kitchen was free to eat (with guests in both rooms it might be a bit cosy to eat at the same time- but totally doable if needed) . The bathroom was luxurious, with mosaic shower, gold taps and patterned sink. Gold is definitely the theme! The bedroom is of a good size and plenty of space to hang clothes. Two lovely windows, one overlooking the mountains. Norma itself is nice for a wander and has a number of restaurants. We ate at Piccola Fontana, which was very reasonably priced and has good pizza and a lovely terrace overlooking the view. Check in was smooth, friendly and detailed. Communication was quick via Whatsapp whenever needed. Luca advised my partner on good running paths and even walked us to show us the way. Oh, and amazing value for money- if this was in the UK it would be 100 pounds a night! I highly recommend staying here if visiting the area, and especially Giardino di Ninfa as it is only 15 mins away.
