We were honestly a bit nervous after reading some of the reviews, but it turned out way better than we thought. Our room was clean, the AC worked fine, and when we had a small issue with the shower, the staff came and fixed it pretty fast. Breakfast wasn’t fancy or anything, but it was fresh and enough to get us going. What really made the stay worth it was the peaceful vibe and the river breeze — super chill. Great spot if you’re just looking to relax, recharge, or stop over on a backpacking trip. For the price, it’s actually a pretty solid deal.

Came to Nong Khai for a quick business trip and stayed one night at Royal Mekong Riverside. Room was big, bed was super comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was quiet, clean, and had everything I needed. Simple, no fuss — all that I could have asked for.
