it was hard to say what to expect from the pictures, but it was a nice surprise to stay in the top floor room. it has just tatami and a bathroom in each room, but it s more than needed for the time in kyoto. would recommend to friends

Good location in a relatively new building; room was nice but would need some refurbishing. The Futons take up the entire room when rolled out. Bathroom is nice. Staff is almost never around, but they helped us with collecting our luggage on a Sunday (communication could be improved).
