The location amazing being build into the side of a cave. Freya the receptionist was so helpful and friendly. The free herbal foot bath every night was lovely after a busy day.

We originally booked Horizon Bungalow as we loved it last year. Due to a tech issue, we were moved to their new Horizon Retreat property. Even though we missed being at the base of the mountain, their new property is fantastic.

The room was really nice, clean and spacious. The staff was absolutely incredible - very helpful and polite, and they brought drinks & fruit to our room everyday for free. They also checked for us if the boat tours are open (we stayed there during time a big typhoon was passing by due to which many attractions were closed) and recommended us various activities to do around the city instead. The hotel is located bit out of the city, but it is still reacheable by Grab, and its surroundings in the nature were spectacular. They offered us daily spa-footbath for free as well, which was a really nice touch.

The location is lovely, just outside the city center and you walk through a rice field. The bungalow is comfortable. You can get bicycles to cycle to town free of charge. The breakfast is very tasty and filled with fruit! You get complimentary foot baths every evening and a glass of juice or tea. And the staff is truly lovely!
