Convenient location close to Lake Chuzenji, in house restaurant was good

Great location, situated just right beside Lake Chuzenji, and a minute's walk away from the Chuzenji Temple. It was a bit of a walk from the Chuzenji Onsen bus station, but not too bad. The highlight of the hotel was definitely their dinner set. We opted out for the first night, but we got their set menu for our second night, and it was delightful. The food was a nice collection of local selections, including yuba. My wife and I enjoyed the dinner set, and regretted not getting it on our first night there. I believe the dinner set's offerings are different if you opted for it for every night. The owner who also operates the restaurant was also very friendly and helpful. I had trouble connecting to the room wifi and upon bringing it up to him, he quickly provided me with an alternate wifi that I could connect to. Highly recommend Nikko Beans.

Hotel met my expectations. In a calm and quiet location. Self check-in was easy. Room had everything I needed. Breakfast was good and people at breakfast were friendly.

Wonderful and cozy property close to the lake. Easy to get to from the bus station - a few minutes walk on a quiet road. The food was exceptional and the man who ran everything from the hotel to the kitchen was kind and helpful.
