Beautiful stone building, the rooms were clean and the hosts were very friendly. Went above and beyond to accommodate us.. even prepared a home cooked meal for us. Would highly recommend the Oudeklip guest house.

We would recommend Oudeklip guest house to anyone - it really is a home away from home. Owner and hostess, Natasha, is hands on. She had already sent us information on what to do and see in and around Nieuwoudtville the day before our arrival. She also forwarded all the respective restaurants' info and menus The units are particularly spacious and attention has been paid to fine detail. The units are tastefully furnished and have everything you could possibly need. We will certainly spend time here again in the future and can recommend Oudeklip with great confidence.

A beautiful old house that has been lovingly restored, with a pretty garden and covered parking. The thick stone walls made the rooms soundproof which ensured a peaceful night's sleep. Our room was clean and compact and had everything needed for a short stay. It was nice to have electric blankets on the beds as the weather was rather chilly. There is a well-equipped communal kitchen and dining area on the property; an unusual concept but it worked for us during our two-night stay. The owners Natasha and Danie were welcoming and gave us exceptionally good advice on the local restaurant options, where to watch the rugby, and where to drive to see the flowers in all their glory. Oudeklip Guest House is conveniently located for visiting the Nieuwoudtville Waterfall, Quiver Tree Forest, Hantam National Botanical Garden and Matjiesfontein Padstal - a must for authentic local cuisine. We would book here again if in the area.
