Matt “Great little apartment to explore Nice from”

Loved the position of the apartment - close to waterfront promenade and the Rue de France activity. 15 mins walk from old town and train station. The apartment private courtyard was great. There is plenty of space. You can sleep either on elevated double bed or fold out couch. We chose the couch because it was cooler under the air con on the warm nights.

This apartment is the closest you will ever get to the Promenade des Anglais and the beach for the price! You are literally less than a couple of minutes walk away. You are also in the heart of many sidewalk café's and countless restaurants, not to mention boutique shops and several pharmacies. Turn left out of the apartment and keep walking on the same road you will arrive at Avenue Jean Médecin and the Galeries Lafayette and countless shops and department stores. Go a little further and you'll arrive in Vieux Nice (The old town) with more restaurants to chose from.From the apartment you are within easy walking distance to Villa Massena,originally a 19 century luxury villa and now a museum with gardens. Well worth a visit. We were met by Maryse outside her apartment-who took us up one floor (there is a lift) to the apartment. She was very kind and helpful and explained everything to us.We were only there for two nights but thought she had thought of just about everything for comfort. A fold out settee for a bed and also a raised double bed accessible by some steps. The kitchen was well equipped with a fridge and microwave and cooktop. The bathroom was clean and large with an excellent Italian shower and fresh clean towels provided. Outside a wonderful terrace with comfortable outdoor furniture to relax in. A good size flatscreen TV was also available. All in all a well thought out apartment and well worth the money. Of course, when your in beautiful and vibrant Nice you don't spend too much time in your apartment!! but it was a wonderful place to come back to and relax your feet! Highly recommended.Cinq étoiles.

Location is great, right in the middle of city. Easy access to old town, sea front and railway station as well as tram services. Plenty of restaurants and a supermarket close by.
