The fine print
The city tax is 0.80 euros per person per day from 01 October to 31 March and 0.90 euros per person per day from 01 April to 30 September.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. They even helped to store my mother-in-law's insulin and refreeze the ice packs for our travel home. We ended up checking in very late because our train to Nice was originally cancelled, but they have someone at reception 24/7. The room was clean and beds were comfy. It was nice to be able to actually open the window and look down the street, something most hotels don't have or allow. It's about a 10 minute walk to the train station and a 25 minute walk to the coast/Old Nice, but there is also a streetcar stop very close by. 25-30 minute train ride brings you to Monaco, so it was the perfect place for making a day trip. Lots of great shops and restaurants in the area, including a laundromat less than a 1 minute walk away. We didn't get to use the relaxation area available, but it was a cute little patio with chairs and tables available only to guests if they wanted to hang out somewhere else. Overall, I was very pleased with the service and would absolutely stay here again.

Hotel Parisien is an excellent choice for the money and offers great value overall. It is not located right in the city centre, but only about a 15-minute walk away, which makes it a perfect option if you are travelling on a budget. Everything about my stay was very good. The room was comfortable, the bed and pillows were cosy, and the provided soap, shampoo, and lotion were a nice touch. One night I called reception to request an extra blanket, which was promptly delivered — a small gesture that really showed the staff’s attentiveness. The reception staff were absolutely exceptional: friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. I would definitely recommend Hotel Parisien and would return without any hesitation.
