Waikawa is such a beautiful and quiet wee town. Our room at the Anchorage was cozy and had all we needed for basic cooking. Very clean and tidy. Beautiful view (even in the downstairs suite). Very helpful coms with hosts before we arrived.

It was a perfect location, quiet with a beautiful outlook. Everything we needed, clean and comfortable. Wonderful communication from owners online giving us easy instructions for access. We would come back in a heartbeat

Loved the location, the tasteful colour scheme and accessories. The bed was very comfortable.

The bed is comfortable, and the verandah relaxing. We loved the isolation, we came in autumn and things have quietened down. The views are nice. It is close to Curio beach. It's a great location to go out and explore the Catlins. We only did a couple of short walks and Curio Beach and were gone most of the day.
