Conan “Super Resort with Fabulous Villas”

This was our first time staying in a Gran Melia hotel, and it definitely exceeded our expectations. On the plus side: - We stayed in a lush 1 bedroom villa with private pool. We were very happy with the villa size and pool size. Our 10 year old was over the moon, and the space was ideal for a small family. The vegetation in the resort is superbly designed to optimise privacy; and the grounds are impeccably maintained with a range of tropical plants. - Staff are well-trained and the customer service is excellent. Our appointed concierge, Celine, was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble; and she was friendly, professional and super-responsive when we needed anything. Restaurant staff worked hard to take great care of customers, and were polite, patient and friendly. Special shout-out for Trinh N (captain in Natura) and Henry, for their top-class table service and customer skills; and Son and Agust from the pool bar who work hard and kept customers smiling every day. - The three restaurants were all excellent. The food is super-fresh, and menus are diverse. We ate there for lunch and dinner every day for a full week and still had plenty of options to explore. Factors to consider: - The resort is somewhat isolated; so it’s a 15-20 min taxi run into town. Tip: Have cash (VND) handy so that you don’t need to do an ATM run. - There is major construction underway next door; so the main beach and restaurants at the north of the resort bear the brunt of this during the daytime. Would recommend noise cancelling headphones if you are planning to spend time at the main beach. The music is good at the main pool, so you don’t notice the noise as much if hanging out by the pool. Overall, we had a super week at Villa Le Corail; and would recommend it. Over 50% of villas appear to have a pool, so would definitely recommend splashing out the extra few $s to make the most of your stay here

Stunning location and amazing views. When we mentioned we are vegetarian, the manager made sure, plenty options were made available. Great work Villa Le Corail.

The hotel is amazingly designed with so much greenery around the villas and manicured gardens. The room is spacious with huge balcony and living room makes our stay for a family of three so comfortable. The hotel has two private beaches and onsen, beautiful pools and bicycles to use. Staff are very responsive and friendly.

The villa we stayed in was fabulous. Everything in it was perfect for our needs. Even the pool had been chilled. Bed was super comfortable. The property is absolutely stunning. Totally 5 star. We had been very busy so 3 quiet days in the resort was great before our next adventure. If quiet is what you are looking for this is perfect. There are some free daily activities, we did them every day and they were really fun, only half an hour which was good as some in the gym were hard work. The welcome cocktail was a very very nice touch.
