What an exceptional place with fantastic hosts. Visited in April with a friend to retrace some childhood memories. Stayed for 2 nights and have to say the room was amazing with fantastic views and everything you would need, including a welcome tray with lots of goodies. The whole property was immaculate and really homely, and breakfast was also 5 star with different specials each day. Big shout out for the blueberry pancakes best I've had. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a base to explore the area by far nicer than any of the soleless hotels around. Felt like i was staying with family friends, Thanks to Marion for being so welcoming, I will definitely be back to stay next time I am in the area.

We had a great stay, the room was lovely and bright, with house martins (or swallows?) flying by the windows. The breakfast was excellent, especially the vegan blueberry pancakes- thank you! It's a great location, you can walk along the Newtonmore wildcat trail from the house, and also into town for food.

The location was perfect, nice and peaceful. My partner and I enjoyed staying and found the room to be clean and quiet. Although not a breakfast person the smells and offers were exceptional We have already discussed and will be back
