Great location close to the beach, very nice room for three people (+ mid-size dog) with view to the sea, super friendly staff, amazing breakfast, comfortable option for parking and storing surf-boards

This is probably the best hotel experience we've ever had and possibly the best we will ever have. The staff was amazing. They are not just 'pet friendly' they love dogs and made as much effort to make them feel welcome as their owners which in turn made us feel even more welcome. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. We had no view but didn't need one as we spent very little time in the room. The hotel is brilliantly located next to Fistral Beach with lovely sands, surfing, swimming and restaurants yet it's only 10 minutes walk to the centre of Newquay and two additional swimming beaches. We had a smashing breakfast before we left and dined in the hotel on one of our evenings there.
