Property was fine for us,staff were superb and very friendly,room was clean although we was only sleeping in it,food was ok,breakfast although not your usual cooked food was ample for my wife and I with a good selection of foods for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike,the area although no fault of their own was too quiet for us,just one small street with one convenience store and a couple of pubs,Westport had a lot more to offer but that was 15-20mins away so not good if you both like a drink,would we stay again personally no,just not for us,would we stay at Westport yes On another note,we actually left a day early,Mother Nature just wouldn’t stop raining so limited to what we could do,we even had a Clew Bay boat trip organised but that was cancelled because of the adverse weather

Lovely building in the heart of Newport, big, spacey rooms and bathrooms. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great variety for breakfast and lots of it. Dinner menu was good value and tasty. My husband said the Guinness was fabulous.
