continental breakfast was good. picturesque location. £16 return taxi fare to take us to Newcastle for something to eat. Taxi driver was helpful and suggested good place for eating

Wow what a beautiful place to stay - the hotel is stunning in a beautiful area with lovely views. The room was very clean and the bed comfy. Would definitely book again and recommend this to everyone. Only had 1 night there but thoroughly enjoyed it.

it was spotless the owner was so pleasant and helpful we loved breakfast everything about it could not fault the mini bar also I should of booked cottage with hot tub would of been perfect the the grounds weather was fantastic definitely be back thanks
