Deposits are fully refundable providing no damage has been done during your stay. Group bookings - Bookings of 4 plus guests - pre payment is required in full and cancellation charge is 100 % of the stay. The location was great for what we wanted to do. Clean room great shower and comfortable bed. That’s all we look for in a break away.

We didnt have breakfast, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable, the bedrooms could do with an update, but this does reflect in the price, so no complaints for us, value for money

Lovely location overlooking Tyne valley. Staff were very accommodating. Moved us to a different room when we said we couldn’t accommodate the stairs. Very good meal in the bistro.

Spacious rooms,, pleasant bar and restaurant and breakfast room with nicely cooked breakfast. Good free parking at back of hotel. Quiet . Tesco next door. Near to Gibside NT estate.
