On arrival, we had lunch with family in the restaurant, which we all thoroughly enjoyed. The cooked breakfast was excellent too. Our room was spacious, with a nice bathroom and we found it to be fairly quiet, so we slept well. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful.

Rooms were spacious with comfortable beds and large en suite facilities. Lovely and clean. Car parking available. Good location for visiting Beamish. Really nice Sunday lunch. Comfortable bar area.

It was so close to our visit to Beamish museum. The food at this hotel is exceptional and the room was a great family size. Usually you have a pull out sofa bed in family rooms, but this room had two big double beds.
