Staff friendly, helpful and welcoming Room was fine, warm with everything we needed Free carparking was a bonus Great location for us, both destinations we needed to get to in Newcastle were in easy reach This was my second stay here.

Bed was comfy and clean Rooms was a bit bland and was looking tidied. Wall paper was hanging of the ceiling in the bathroom and toilet roll holder was broke. Breakfast was nice. Meals within the pub were ok and cheap enough.

I brought my own food but the kitchen staff were so lovely that they offered support and warmed it in the kitchen for me since there was no microwave in my room.

Location is spot on. The rooms are small but comfortable and nicely decorated. As it is part of a pub the bar and food is excellent. It's chain pub food but it's good. The breakfast was really good, decent choice and tatsy.
