We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel in preparation for the Great North Run. The location was excellent, in the lovely area of Jesmond, with lots of restaurants, cafés and shops in the area. Despite all of the partying atmosphere outside at the many bars, the room felt quiet and was comfortable. Staff were super friendly and helped us out directing us to their parking, etc. Though breakfast was not included, there was a good, discounted rate available if booking the night before.

room was clean, touch up required on some of the decor but essentially clean and comfortable. Location was perfect We didn't eat at the hotel although we did eat at Sohe next door which was excellent.

I really enjoyed the location and loved that it was so close to the metro and town centre!! The area was so lovely as well, being so close to a bunch of brunch spots and cafes and Waitrose being right across was so helpful.

For the money I paid this was good value, warm and clean. Was in the Carlton annex
