Breakfast was good & the service at breakfast was great! The lady serving was extremely helpful. Asked for a quiet room & it was fairly quiet.

Didn’t have breakfast because of the times due to working nights, breakfast finish at 09:00 an I finished at 09:30.. apart from that all good

The bar and restaurant are underwhelming but the space plus patio is pleasant when the sun is shining. I liked the Podium Cafe about 10 minutes away by foot and Newbury is only 20 minutes walk or a quick hop by train. All Angels vineyard nearby does a wonderful tour & tasting. Apart from being woken up a couple of times by a bang from a fire door, my room was quiet and comfortable.
